Try Sprout

A little pot with a face and a plant that keeps climbing as long as you keep it watered. Leave it dry and it wilts; bump it into the top of the screen and it snaps.

On your desktop Double-click to water it. It grows every 12 seconds while you keep it watered, all the way up your screen, and shrinks if you forget it for a minute. Carry it into the top of the screen and it snaps; slam it there and it turns purple and cries.

Turn sound on to hear it.

About Sprout

Sprout is a Cozlings prop: a pixel-art potted plant that lives on your Windows desktop. Double-click it to water it, and as long as it was watered in the last minute it grows a little taller every 12 seconds, all the way to the top of your screen. Your clicks pass straight through to your work everywhere else.

Forget it and it gets worried, its leaves go dull, and it shrinks back down to an empty pot. Carry it into the top of the screen and its plant snaps off; slam it in and it turns purple and cries. Sprout comes with Cozlings Basic, and you can give it your own name.

What Sprout does

Grows a step taller every 12 seconds while you keep it watered
Climbs all the way up your screen, then looks up in pride
Whimpers and wilts when it is thirsty, and shrinks if you leave it dry
Snaps off where it hits the top of the screen when you push it up there
Turns purple and cries for 10 seconds if you slam a tall Sprout into the top
Remembers how tall it is when you close Cozlings
